Balancing Creativity and Learning by The Avinash Sharma

Hello Guys,

Today was a decent day just I came to know about few things in the ServiceNow learning portal which made my whole plan of learning from that portal as a waste. The certified course from that portal are paid and not even cheap they are literally expensive like USD 500 just for a certificate exam and the course content is separate from that I was felt like someone brings me back to the reality kind of, well let me start from the beginning.

I woke up at 7:00 am and started to get ready for the institute as today I have a class of Maya Modeling. Well, I got ready and reached the class by 8:55 am, as the class was at 9:00 am but today also class didn't start at 9:00 am it started at 9:30 am only. So, in that class we learned about the basics of Maya, the interface, shortcuts, modeling tools and alot more.

Well, after that class I just came back to my room as I have alot to do as already mentioned in my yesterday's blog. So, I came back to my room and started looking into my course of ServiceNow but when I opened it I found that the course content is not available as the course is paid and cannot be accessed for CSA and CDA only the Micro-Certifications are available for free which I have done for the platform and rest was not inline with my interest.

Well, after that my mood was literally off and I was thinking now what, however I still have alot of things to do but this was something which could make my portfolio or LinkedIn achievement section quite nice. Well, now I can't do anything in this so I thought to start writing my blog for the Maya and 12 principles of Animation. Those who are interested can be check out that post I will mention the link at the end.

Well, after that blog I was checking out somethings related to animation and music production and I found something which is literally great atleast for me. So, first thing I checked how Adobe Animate works and how can we create Anime in that. I found out that someone has already announced an Indian Anime named Tandav 2 months ago, however the production just started 1 month ago but the Title Track they made for the Anime is literally insane, I would admit that lyrics could be better but the BGM Score is literally insane.

So, I got really hyped and a little bit jealous as I wanted to create the first Indian Anime but fine atleast as a country we are having something so I am happy in that sense. So, I started looking into Adobe Audition and how we can create our own BGMs, I came to know that we can make it in audition however it is not used to make BGMs primarily but yeah we can make in it but what I found next was great I found a way to separate vocals, drums, bass and instruments from a song and I tried it with 3 songs and I got so many remix ideas even I got the BGMs in my head. So, I can now start creating them.

Well, this was one of the greatest thing I got today as I am now planning to start remixing the songs for now and the final goal for this is to create BGM for my own stories an animations which I think will be great once I got the complete control of the application with the practice and as we go I will get more deep knowledge of sounds and music which will help me to create more great music with time.

Well, that was all for today and as I couldn't learn anything much more than the Maya application but the self learning is still little bit behind and I am not exactly statisfied with my day but what I found gave me atleast a hope and things clear in my mind so I will not say the day as a waste as now I will continue with my creativity and learning. So, let's see what will happen in the future till then hoping for the best and waiting for the rest...
