Simulation Theory & Grandfather Paradox...

Hello Guys,

Today I came to talk about something not related to everyone’s life or experiences Simulation Theory & Grandfather Paradox, so I just wanted to let you all know that those who don’t like Science Stuff or Physics Talks this blog is probably not for you today, so you can stop reading here if you want or else if something is not clear please don’t blame on me for that.

Well, those who are in Physics side and know me, might know I am kind of Physics lover so right now I am having an hypothetical explanation of grandfather paradox in time travel, first let me tell what is the grandfather paradox to those who aren’t aware, so suppose you are a person who can do time travel, you goes back in time and kill your grandfather before your dad born, then what will happen as you killed your grandfather which means your dad never born which means you haven’t born either.

Now the paradox section, if you haven’t born then no one had killed your grandfather which means your father had born then you have born, and if you have born, you will go to past and again kill your grandfather, so this is the paradox creating a loop of uncertainity in the timeline. Now, the current explanations as much as I have read about it are as follows:

1. Alternate Time: According to this once you go back in time and kill your grandfather you will create another timeline which doesn’t have anything to do with your actual present from where you came it will be intact everything there but you will create another timeline where your grandfather had died, so in that timeline you will never born, this solves the paradox but it leaves us with the question of coming back once we are done with our work when we will come back, in which timeline will we come back or can we actually create a timeline because there is law of consevation of mass, energy, inertia everything is conserved in every action then shouldn’t the timeline will be conserved, so can we actually create a whole timeline. Well, my theory is kind of similar to this but it can give answer of this timeline question.
   

2. Destined Timeline: According to this, it actually doesn’t matter what you do everything which will happen is already destined, for example your friend died suppose 2 months ago. You go back in time to save him or her whatever you prefer, well the thing is at the end whatever you tried to save him actually he died because of that only which means coming back and trying to save your friend was already destined if it won’t be your friend didn’t die, but you did. Now how it can be connected as your grandfather paradox. I would say not at all, actually this explanation has a limitation for time traveler that he or she can only go till a specific point back in time and there either you can’t change anything because whatever you do will be the reason of actually happening of it. Well, I can’t say this as an explanation but it is a theory I have read so I just explained.
   

Now, it’s time for my theory but it has some prerequisite to understand that theory (actually many) I will try to explain most of them, so there is a theory of birth of universe which is Simulation theory which is much better explainations of the questions which Big Bang theory’s limitation rises, like what was at and before absolute 0 of time and much more. So, the theory is we have been in a simulation which is created by someone (hypothetically God for us). We are living in that simulation. You can read about Simulation Theory by Nick Bostrom, online to understand more about it.

So, those who have studied game mechanics or decision tree they can get it much better, assuming Simulation Thoery as real origination of the universe, it means everything situation is already existing, everything is dependent on our own decisions that which side of a tree branch we have to go, imagine the node of the decision tree as your decision and the branch following to the other node through that is the result or consequence or after effect of your decision, whatever you want to call it.

Now putting the paradox situation in the theory, so for the first issue the traveller can travel in any of the 2 timelines if he or she opens the second branch of the timeline, and that can done by 2 things either using a worm hole hypothetically because these 2 timelines will be the most closest by each other, or if the branches or timelines are not near that in case you have altered a decision years or centuries ago then there might be many branches between the changed branches, so you have go back and forth in time by tracing the branch or timeline to the decision part and then move according to it in the exact branch or timeline you want to enter however you can change it anytime like a toggle switch just by changing a single thing in the decision node.

Now the second problem of Alternate Timeline, you are actually not creating a timeline you are simply switching the path open and close based on a decision, so as the timeline already exist the both of the timelines or all the branches of the complete timeline would be always conserved.

Well, I know this already based on an hypothetical assumption of universe origination but Simulation theory is the only theory which seems to be the most convincing theory of universe origination to me, well I also have a guess that in our Hindu Mythology something is there which supports to this simulation theory too which is the time difference between our planet and the God’s residal according to Mythology 1 day of God Bramha is 4.32 billion years here on Earth and this is just a day which means 12 hours so according to this 24 hours (1 complete day cycle) will be 8.64 billion years.

This can only be understood if the universe is to be created only to observe, so this is the most important evidence which always make me think about simulation theory to be true as if I can create a simulation to study I would also keep the time of the simulation to be so fast that I could see the observational changes in the simulation, that could only be the best possible explaination of this much of time difference. Rest you can observe that our whole universe always work mathematically just like a program or geomatrically just like a simulation for visualization and also we have some constants limits, beyound which always unusual happens which means we can’t go any further, like speed of light, mass of an object or everything at most has a limit even the universe itself might have even though we believe it is expanding, what if it is not we just can’t touch the boundaries.

Well, that is all my thoughts my theory whatever came to my mind and I hope I have given enough supporing arguments too, rest is all on you who read it to believe it or not, think about it or not totally on you.
