A.I. Are We Ready?
Hello Guys,
Today I am just wondering that, Are we ready to accept the change which will all are working for? Yes firstly I am on my way of 2 years and I think with a proper speed and rest all I left to destiny. The book is great and talks about the working of the brain it was boring earlier but as I am going through it. It is becoming more and more interesting with every page. I am also following the book of Hands on ML for practical implementation what I know already.in parallel.
Now what am I wondering let’s talk about that. Actually many people are trying to achieve the Artificial Intelligence as perfect as we could. We all are working towards and for the singularity. But the question is that, Are we ready for it? I know it is away for now but not far away. As always ‘A famous man once said we create our own demons.’ I don’t want to male one. We all know we all are working for a positive AI. This is in the heritage of humans we always starts for good hopes for the best but sometimes we land on a thing we shouldn’t.
Let’s see this picture from the logical view. Fundamentals of Machine Learning. It learns from what it observes and we know how much negativity is in the environment. Wars, Strikes, Protest everything goes almost daily at some place in the world. How many moral values can we teach our system which it will basically never observe. Restrictions are not one or two. And the situation is more complex in real world. A thing is wrong in a situation and suddenly it is right in another situation. For example killing someone is not a good thing but killing a terrorist is not bad too. Even sometimes it is compulsory. How could we teach this to our system.
A big problem is also a thing generally known as ‘Misunderstanding’. What if our system misunderstood the situation and act the way it should not. If he kills hostages in the place of terrorist than or if it just assumed somebody to be terrorist. What is the solution to this.
This world is not even a place to let it learn. This world is full of loop holes, exploits and negativity for the system. And what will we do a system which we can not set in the market freely. Everything evolves with time this system will also but humans, they don’t even want to evolve they want to live like this they are happy in this. And we humans rule over other animals because we are stronger physically and mentally. But what if we doesn’t evolve and a smarter system or organism came into existence. What is the guarantee it will don’t treat us like we treat other animals today.
Our whole world is in the race of singularity and I am also one of them but I am afraid of result when we will achieve that too.
