Luck and Risks…
Hello Guys,
Today was a great day after a long research and analysis I finally came to know what I have to do further in the project, so I am quite happy that atleast I am learning something new that relate to my personal and professional both fields, actually I am learning ELK Stack it is a tool for observability, actually not a tool it is a set of 3 tools, Elastic Search, Log Stash and Kibana, so I have started learning them from today only.
Well, today I am not excited about the work I have done today, I am excited about what I have read today, well finally I read one more chapter of The Psychology of Money and that chapter was dedicated to a specific topic which is getting rich is not all the hard work, knowledge or any other controllable factors, they are major factors but till some extent your luck also works with that.
Well, I am not saying everyone got rich only because of luck, that is clear denial but I am totally saying the people who got rich are literally lucky, first thing these 2 things are very different, let me explain you this, well you all might know Bill Gates the founder of Microsoft, first thing he was lucky to get a chance to study in the Lakeside School which was the only school at that time which had computer lab in the school, Bill Gates himself told once in his interview that if there was not Lakeside School there would be no Microsoft, because that was the which drives him towards computer sector.
Well, the second things is he was lucky to be alive to build Microsoft I am saying this because many of you might know or those who don’t know Bill Gates had a best friend who was as genius as Bill Gates himself even they both were the most computer wizards in the school, they both were planning to have graduations together and build career in computers together, the name of the second person was Kent Evans.
Well, if you follow Bill Gates you might know Kent Evans died at the age of 17 because of an accident, and Bill Gates himself told that if he would be alive he would be one of the co-founder of Microsoft, well this whole event doesn’t have to do anything with any of the controllable factors like knowledge, experience or anything else.
Well, this is the factor of luck that plays small but key role in becoming rich or successful, I am not at all saying leave everything on luck all other factors can be ignored, they also have the same importance in becoming successful as luck, and just opposite of it is also true failures are not just because you don’t have knowledge, experience or anything else, sometimes you have everything and after doing everything perfect also people get failures.
Well, there is so much to understand but the key point is don’t think that you are wrong or doing something wrong or you are not capable, you might have to change the way you are doing the things if things doesn’t work for you but sometimes look at the things and think is something wrong with what you are doing or just time is wrong for now, if you think like that, I am sure many of the people will put all the excuses to the time itself and sometimes I do it too but don’t forgive just take accountability of it and try again when you feel the correct time comes or the best way is keep trying atleast sometime you will get your luck to the correct time.
Well, that is all for today at last I want you understand nothing has 100% probability, if the probability is 80% of success you should go towards that but it might be possible that you might be in that 20% failure side, that all depends on the luck or in the book written risk or you can call it unfortunate side, whatever you like to call it, the thing is keep that failure side too in your mind and the final conclusion to success is just that keep trying to push yourself because as much you will try that much your chance of getting into that 80% will increase, it is not philosophy, it is just simple probability and analysis.
So, that is all atleast for now, as in the future nobody knows what will happen I also can’t quantify the luck as all of you, so I also have to wait for the future to disclose my percent of luck but I am sure of one thing that is I will keep try to bring that luck to my side everytime I will get on the unfortunate side, well let’s see what will happen in future till then hoping for the best and waiting for the rest…
