Salute to you Rukhsar…
Hello Guys,
Today my whole day was vanished in just installing ubuntu in Shivani’s laptop she got a laptop worst for dual boot ‘HP’, and I was also having interview of WIPRO which should be HR but it was of technical, so let’s start from the beginning. Today was my one class only but I woke up late so I told Suraj to take my class as I will not be able to take it. Well this was not a big deal, but today that was, I think my first day when I said him to take class and was just because I was late today. After that we started to install ubuntu in Shivani’s laptop, actually what happened she had to install ubuntu and she started installation yesterday, but encounters an error which was of grub installation. So, we tried to fix it but again and again we were encountering the same problem.
So, we were just experimenting the permutations of file systems in partitioning during installation, we also tried to install grub manually but we always end up with command line grub ‘Bash Like Editing’ mode. Sometimes we also went in grub-rescue mode but nothing works. Finally we installed grub repair application during live boot from USB drive and than this all took whole day and approximately mid-night. Well, in between of this all I had an interview from WIPRO as you all might know if you had read yesterday’s blog. The interview was scheduled for HR I just looked at website and took general information like Industries they work in, services they provide and the member of board of directors. But after joining the interview and 2 minutes of conversation, interviewer says all the best for your technical interview, I was just confused and in that confused voice I asked sir technical? He relied yes why, I than told him that I had already gave technical interview, I thought this was HR interview, he was so nice in nature just like my big brother like any senior of my college.
So, after hearing that he asked me to wait for some time to check my company profile and it’s status, than he said it is not updated than I said okay no problem I can give it also no big deal, firstly he asked my interests I told AI, ML and Python after that he asked questions from C, Java and than came to Python. I was unable to give answer of only one question that was of Java as I did Java from coding point of view and the question was from theory so I said sorry sir I didn’t know Java. After that he just came to Python and asked some questions from it and finally my interview was over it was not so much difficult. I was able to give answers without even any kind of revision but yes the only thing is you must be confident on the things you mentioned in the Resume mainly and you says as your interested fields. This is one of the best way to perform good in the interview or you should have basics theoretical knowledge of every field. So, that if he could ask basics of anything or any field and you are can give answer. But the first trick is always best as no one can have knowledge of every fields.
Today I also got a very bad and sad news, Rukhsar’s mother’s brother expired yesterday at night and she was also having this interview. Her interview was over in just 5 minutes in 6th minute she called me, she said she told interviewer this incident and interviewer just stopped asking questions but before that she gave answer of each and every question almost correctly. So, I don’t want to predict the possibility of her selection I can just say it totally depends on the interviewer. She is literally very strong, when she told me this I just asked a thing, are you giving interview? she replied yes after that I will go to see him. I was just thinking how strong she is, if she wants than she can mail for reschedule the interview as nobody in that state of mind an ever want to give any interview but she don’t only gave interview she also gave it nicely and correctly.
I can’t even imagine how did she does that, I am not comparing myself to her as you all know how am I when it comes to emotions or relations (almost emotionless). So, I would give the interview as same as I gave it today but I knows one thing that is she is literally very sensitive but than also she shows this much of courage. I just don’t have words for her on this decision and the whole act from this decision till the interview ends. Well I pray no one else would have to see this type of condition ever. So, that is it for today as whole day was like this cocktail. So, let’s see what will happen next as now I don’t know why they took my technical interview and if they took my technical than when will we have our HR interview and still waiting for the mails of other companies specially from Infosys, as soon as it will come or any mail regarding to career will come I will let you all know till than hoping for the best and waiting for the rest…
