Smartphones day…
Hello Guys,
Today I actually did many things obviously nothing was related with anything I have to do in the future but everything I did today was just because of my curiosity, actually today in the morning I seen a tweet of our prime minister stating again about the Atmanirbhar Bharat or Make In India movement, well I commented many things there on that tweet but after that I started research about the phone industry why the heck India or would say Bharat can’t make even comparable smartphones which can outstand in the global market.
Well, those who are thinking why am I using Bharat it is just because I am practicing it as our country’s supreme court has signed on the rule that from 15th June our country will officially be renamed as Bharat from India. Well that was not at all important specially at this time but it is also fine they haven’t done anything wrong just their timing doesn’t seems appropriate to me, as they have renamed it at a time when we can’t even represent our country’s new name in any field and more importantly nothing will happen by just renaming the country the main thing is mentality which has to be changed.
Well I don’t think anything like that would happen in my country but renaming is a good start although, well coming back to the smartphone market so I actually found the solution which is quality of our products, specifically digital components as all around the globe every market holding company actually invest very much in it’s R&D or Research and Development sector, even then also Bharat can manage to somehow build most of the components of the smartphones such as Display, Cameras, external frame, batteries etc.
The section in which Bharat lacks behind is the chipset, this is the biggest downfall of Bhartiya Technical Industry, one minute what was it, Bhartiya Technical Industry according to me it is quite nice to listen but I don’t think they will rename everything with the name of India in it as there are heck a lot of things like that and some of them are so important which will become headache to rename like Banks, many banks in India or Bharat have the name India in them like the bank with most account holders in it which is State Bank of India (SBI), Central Bank of India (CBI), Bank of India (BOI) and the most important one Reserve Bank of India (RBI) which is the main bank of Bharat, so it would almost be impossible to get rid of the word India from them all.
Well the basic idea according to me might be they keeps the name as it is of all the existing ventures but from 15th June no one can incorporate India in their venture’s name, this is a possible, practical and feasible idea to rename the country. This will achieve the objective of renaming the country officially, atleast kind of, well I am again and again going out of the topic I know but I can’t stop myself when words like Bhartiya Technical Industry encounters, my bad, well coming back to smartphone industry so the biggest problem is of chipset, Bharat is not efficient to build it’s own processor atleast for now and that is obvious because Bharat is totally new in this, so that is fine.
The major noticeable thing is that Bharat is already focusing on it’s week point I mean to say it is already working on chipset, venture has been formed and registered and prototyping is also going on yes some are completed but they are basically improving those prototypes, so yes that is a great start, but what till then because if you all know AMD took almost 6 years to make it’s first good processor which I would say can be treated as a nice performing processor so if not 6 years then also Bharat will definitely going to take atleast 4 years to build something like that so till then what is the solution for Make In India Movement, according to me, there should be a collaboration between processor companies with our Indian Mobile companies to deliver some high end devices.
Well that would again violate the main concept of Make In India movement which is the product made must be made with 100% Indian components but we have no other options other then that if you are in technical industry you might know many companies work with their own chipsets either we talk about Samsung which works with it’s very own Exynos chipset or about Apple which also works wit it’s very own chipset, Bharat is in process of it but I am waiting for the result product as for now I don’t even know what should I expect from it because I know some great chipset companies products benchmarks so should I expect that level of performance or the starting performance of any chipset company delivers with their starting first series.
Well questions are many and process is obviously and definitely slow with some limited amount of resources because this is the story of everything in India so let’s see what performance will this Indian chipset industry delivers to us and when, well I myself watched many things related to chipsets including from the requirements to whole detailed manufacturing process so that made me doubt on the Bhartiya chipset industry but before result product and it’s benchmark I am not becoming at all biased so I am just giving chance to that too, however I don’t have much expectations from that but let’s see.
Well other then that I have watched many videos of smartphones from cheapest to most expensive smartphone, from most ordinary to rarest smartphones or most unique and awkward smartphones and their concepts, well I have watched alot today about smartphones and today I also enrolled in a one month workshop on embedded systems starting from 21st June to 31st July atleast it will cross my time if I will continue that course which totally depends on the course itself if the instructor would be teaching well then I will continue if I got bored I will leave that, well that was all for today so let’s see what will happen of my country and what will happen of me specially but this all we will only come to know in the future so till then hoping for the best and waiting for the rest…
