Story Time…

Hello Guys,

Today I want to tell you all a story, a story of nobody becoming somebody and I will tell it from all the way through reality prospective, no fiction no luck just pure hustle. So, this story is of a small boy of a slum area, we all knows the condition of Indian slum areas, no study, no rights nothing just struggling for food of 2 time just not to die by starving. the boy belongs to that area. When he grew up he starts to go the near by government school, and I am hoping if you are Indian you knows the condition of Indian government schools pretty well.

So the boy studied by his own, in 2 or 3 months he left the school because he was feeling that going to school is just a waste of time as nothing happens there. He takes books from the trash store but he didn’t knows anything about books. So, he gone to a book store and guess what, the store owner just don’t even let him in the store by saying this place is way far from your status he actually seen his cloths and just throw him out. This is the reality of India here the right for education is just words, government itself is not following it in a right way. In the name of schools they just constructed a building and than forgets it. But I will not say anything about it today because the story must not be disturbed.

So, after seeing this behavior towards him, he just asked a question how did you know my status. Logically he should ask ‘Why’ but he knows the answer of it because he doesn’t have money he gone there just to make a list of books with same topics as he knew in book store every book is kept organized. He wants to know how did he know I don’t have money. He got the answer from the store owner he said how could you ask a foolish question look at you anybody can predict your status. Than the boy compared him with other people in the store he realized just one difference which was cloths.

He went to house and just tried to sleep his mom asked what happened his father asked what happened he didn’t tell anything. Till now he was able to read and write his mother tongue language and English but he didn’t knew how to pronounce correctly as he was having no one to correct him in pronunciation. At night he gets up looked his mom-dad and left the house silently. No one was there to stop him, he just ran away with a determination of becoming a big person one day. Now let me pause here and ask you did he does right or wrong? He had a family to take care of and he just without telling anybody anything just ran away just because he was knowing that if he would ask his family will never allow to leave him even it is a slum Mom is a Mom her love can never decrease either it is a slum or paradise. Think of it.

So, now I am continuing, so he went to railway station as he was knowing his parents will try there best to find him. The same happened his parents whole day just cried and wonder door by door every possible door they can go his mom was almost like she will die by crying only his father becomes unconscious when he didn’t found him in whole city and how would he be found till morning he changed the city. He gone to other city and just joined a shop in the starting just to feed himself. After some time he found a garage where he found more interaction to the people he thinks altleast if he will interact with people, may be someone help him in studying or tells him something about study or give teach him something to take a reputed job, the garage owner seen this and he gave him guidance and books both, this shows all people are not selfish in this world good people still exist.

Till than his parents were also continuously searching him they informed police and police published his photo in every city possible. One day the garage owner seen the poster and asked the boy why is he ran from his home so he told whole story to the owner. He asked him to talk to his parents and say them that you are okay and will meet them soon. Really the owner was god for him. He did the same he just talked him with the phone of owner and said if wanted to talk me can call on the number but it is of owner so please call in any emergency only if possible. After some years he completed his schooling and graduation from government school as well as college. He became a Mechanical Engineer his owner helped him alot in it but finally his dedication was finally has the time to pay-off.

He applied in a company and was ready for the interview, but his owner informed him that his father called and informed that his mother’s health is not well she can die at any moment, government hospitals are not admitting her because they are saying they doesn’t have the equipment required. Now I am again pausing what should he do he should go to his mother or he should go to interview.

Actually I know many of you will definitely choose mom, actually if I had that option I would also choose mom but, he chose interview. He got selected and after he came to owner he informed his mom died. His owner asked why you didn’t go there to see your mom she needed you he replied if I would go there than my interview will be cancelled and if today I had not got selected than your efforts had wasted. They just kept me there in the slum they never even listens when I says I want to go out, I want to study, I want to become a person who has a normal life. They always says no to me never understood me. They just wants me also to be in the slum only. I can understand their love and feeing but their love was becoming a barrier in my growth. What can I do at that time? And if I had gone before than I would never come back I know that. That is why I decided to stay.

The story ended here. I cannot say if his actions were right or not but his thinking was right. Our parents wants that we should grow but they will never wants us to go out of our comfort zone always stay infront of their eyes. I don’t have any moral for this story and i don’t have any judgment for this story it is all on you.

“The biggest hurdle in anyone’s life is their parents, who in their love forgets to give you freedom of growth.”
