Ubuntu as a server…
Hello Guys,
Today was a great day, however I don’t know what joke happened with me today, actually today whole day was so great everything was fine, I removed that exception of the Dot Net project which was coming till yesterday, which was of DB connectivity.
I worked whole day and removed that exception and after that it was giving another In- Process error which I removed by further continuing my efforts and finally the program was giving 1 exception but that was not breaking the flow of the code, however the program was unexpectedly terminating after execution.
I tried my best but can’t figure out the reason or solution of it, however as much as I feel the problem might be because of the last remaining exception, that is actually the sets of many exceptions but I am still not confirm, but the best joke of the week happen when almost 1 hour ago, the senior with whom I was working on the project informed that the project will not be configured in the local system.
He actually contacted to the creator or some person who previously used that code, so he told that code will not be running in local, well that was the main reason why we were not able to do that, so it was fine atleast it recalled all the concepts and syntaxes of C# and many of other things I also learn which I didn’t knew previously, so at the end it was fruitful for me.
Today our team lead said very good thing, he told that writing code or configuring project is not a big thing what big is the knowledge of the domain and clarity about it, that is actually what everybody should go for the domain not for the technology, actually the technology has a demerit that it can get extinct at any point of time in future.
Well, that was all for today however I looked about the server, so actually I feel for me Ubuntu would be great to configure as server because I don’t have much control in server version of ubuntu, however I can do the same things with some decent control on the OS, so that is the main reason of choosing Ubuntu and then configure it as a server. Well, let’s see what will happen in the future till then hoping for the best and waiting for the rest…
