Hello Guys,
Today was a great day, Logstash problem isn’t solved but I found a solution for it, and some more things happened today, let me start from the beginning, so in the morning when I woke up I came to know that there is no electricity at my home, so instead of attending the meeting, I just gave the update of what I have done of Friday and what I have to do today.
So, after that I started to find the solution of Logstash issue, actually as I have mentioned in my Friday’s blog that Logstash is not giving any error but it is getting stuck at a place that is the issue, I was not able to index the data of csv file from there, so now I thought if Logstash is not working I thought I should use Python to index the csv data into Elasticsearch.
So, I did some R&D on it and as I was thinking to use Python for Elasticsearch, Kibana and Logstash, so I just focused on Elasticsearch module of Python for now, so that atleast I can index the csv data in bulk with Python in Elasticsearch, I haven’t touched Kibana and Logstash yet but atleast Ihave successfully indexed the data in my Elasticsearch index which means I left ELK stack but atleast I have achieved the first step.
Yet I am having an issue in it which is it is not appearing in the Kibana instance in my local system however I am able to access those index using Kibana’s dev tools from where I can directly write a query to connect with my Elasticsearch instance, well I will talk about this to my team, but the base line is I have completed today’s task atleast.
Well, other than this today gift of my mom and dad reached to them which I ordered on Amazon as their anniversary is coming on 9th of this month, so as an anniversary gift I gave them a couple ring, they were very happy by seeing the gift, they were saying me that you should save these money but as I always say, money is not for saving, it is for making everything good, you should not leave your enjoyment just to save the money.
So, that was the thing I do whatever I feels right with my money I am doing everything whatever is important including enjoyment and making my loved ones happy, so I don’t care about anything else, that is enough for me and I am satisfied with whatever I am doing, well coincidently Nisha also sent an anniversary gift to my parents and I was happy to hear that my parents were appreciating her gift more than mine.
So, I am very happy I don’t know why I am so happy after even they haven’t appreciated my gift that much but I was happy as they were appreciating Nisha’s gift and blessing her again and again and honestly when they were blessing her I was feeling like they were blessing me, well I don’t know why but that was my feeling.
Well, that was all as my whole day went in R&D of python module and now I am thinking to do everything using Python only like Kibana and all, well let’s see what will happen in the future till then hoping for the best and waiting for the rest…
